The patented precision collet holders FPC are highly precise tool holders with mechanical clamping which provide superior clamping force and concentricity as well as excellent shock-absorbing properties. The tools are clamped via collets.

Tools are clamped and unclamped with a hexagon wrench which operates the clamping mechanism at the side - and in just a few seconds. All straight shanks according to DIN 6535 or DIN 1835 can be clamped.

The high-precision collet holders FPC are well suited for high-performance and high-speed milling. In addition they can be used for drilling, reaming and threading operations

Advantages:

Reliable - An extremely high transferable torque provides maximum process reliability. The transferable torque on a tool shank diameter of 20mm is 400Nm.

μ accurate - With a projection length of the tool of 3 x D the concentricity is ≤ 3μm. This guarantees reliable tool lives and surface qualities.

Longer tool life - The vibrations generated by the machining process are reduced by means of the special technical design of the tool holder. This feature results in improved surfaces on the workpiece and ensures an excellent tool life.

Fast tool change - Twist the collet with tool inserted into the holder and operate the clamping mechanism.
